El-Yoshuah Malakhi was born and raised on the west side of Baltimore. He is a father, author, writer, poet and motivational speaker. He self-published his first book titled, EYE AM By: Joshua Seldon on 27 August 2022  (currently available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble). He was inspired to expand his creativity by writing poetry and sharing with his peers. The focus of “THE GEM-IN-I: A Journey Through Self’s Center Vol.1” is to story tell through rhythm and rhyme poetry. He takes us on a journey through his childhood and adult life in a unique form of poetic expression. He reveals his childhood experiences, trauma, self-love tips, and a series of events that took place throughout his life in a bold, imaginative and inspiring way. El-Yoshuah was inspired to share the roots of his pain with the collective in hopes that it would inspire them to reflect and create spaces for healing. He relentlessly commits to sharing wisdom and encouragement to help others free themselves of the pain and suffering that keeps them from progressing and thriving in life.

I hope my writing and poetry encourages the collective to share their stories in a way that promotes healing and growth. One of my greatest wishes is for the world to experience healing, which requires that we free ourselves of past experiences of hurt, pain, suffering and trauma. Sharing my gifts and talents helped me to heal tremendously. I hope that by immersing yourself into my writings and books that you  no longer feel the need to hide and lurk in the shadows. There is a community of people that accepts you for who you are. I love y'all and I hope that we can commit ourselves to grow and unite to raise awareness on the importance of healing individually and as a cosmic community. May we all live life to the fullest daily in abundance. You are all you've been looking for this whole time. You just didn't know it yet… Until now. Embrace every aspect of your being. Continue to be the change you want to see in the world. It is So.
