What is a mirror?
Updated: Jun 11

A glare at a distance
reflects a fragment
of realities abundant
in vivid visions of
victory stares that translates
life’s movie creating
a lens projecting scripts
The glory erupts passion
picturing purpose of paint
galleries and art exhibits
Running races through thoughts
Reminiscing patterned portraits
The void cradles your wishes well
It absorbs the orbs that floors
your soul to wooden tiles with
ears to hear
With a door that never closes
cracked open like grinded peppercorn
It opens up to you to see
The many realms of you
Present and patient
The waiting room awakened
for permission to be adorned
At times you ignored the darkness
As if the womb you portal through
Didn't blind you before
Breath eclipsed your lungs
The lights lantern
buzzing probe lights
You would have thought it
Was an alien abduction
A portion of you still
yearn for that part of you
Missing the connection
The dark merges to you
To crave for something
deeper than the surface
Can you fathom life
With a blank canvas
With no paint
Just nakedness
Staring at you waiting
To co-create life through
Intuition and synchronicity
It reminds you of the fool
Whispering and wondering
Life’s wonders of spring
merging with summer
A reminder that seasons
work in union with one another
Though different in essence
With fall giving reverence
And winter guarding the exit
Then there’s a pool
Watering thoughts plastering
Posters of valuable versions
Of you interconnected by glue
But distant enough to remind yourself
That the past presented you a future
Of learning through suffering and
Graduating through sacred union
The reflection was never a burden
It was an invitation
to see yourself
Peeling layer after layer
Until the core bared a seed
It’s stillness forges
You through a flame
That shows many facets
and habits of smiles, grins,
frowns, and sins
as if emotions and
habits were cousins
What happens when fragments
Pieced together through pressure
Firing shards of structured
geode formed by divine destruction
Essence never faded
It transforms into shades
of shadow scales scrying
scars in a substance
Created without a mask
Obsidian had the last laugh
The presents past remembers
A glimpse of gold
gift wrapped in skin
Vibrant as a precious stone
The philosopher has come home
In the heart space left unknown
Remember the time
When you first saw you
Staring back as a twin
wondering can my reflection
mimic every move
and never broke character
It remembers that every movement
Is a pixel waiting to be pieced
together like puzzle pieces
Can you see the bigger picture now
Or Is life one big movie set?
Projector.
Perception.
Passion.
Purpose.
Presence.
I see a vision
Of a left stage exit
After you leave
Remember this was
Earth school with
Many lessons
So stop stressing
And live your life
According to your own direction
This was a divine intervention
